The use of both Audio and Visual(s) together or separate are the foundations of emotion at A\P. We specialize in slow-fi projects highlighting human connection and tapping into the spirit of DIY and true independent cinema.

A\P was founded in 2016 and created by Joshua Waldby, a NY Emmy Award Winning cinematographer, editor, video producer, and photographer located in Syracuse, NY.

“SLOW-FI” is an evolved idea of slow cinema + slice-of-life + lo-fi: a mix of raw, unpolished elements that bring attention to the imperfect beauty and intense brutality of everyday life.

The human connection element comes from telling real, human stories. Whether if it’s through a wedding film, a music video, a photograph, a social media post, or something else… in a world where humanity is less and less cherished, at A\P humanity is celebrated; flaws and all. A\P takes a strong anti-AI approach to storytelling to allow the human element of life and art to glow.
